Thursday, October 1: We completed a matching equations hands on activity for our do now today and it was a grade – if you were absent you need to see me to make it up!

Homework: Chapter 1 home test from textbook page 57 #8-14 even, page 58 #16-34 even, page 59 #42-52 even due tomorrow for a test grade show all work -split page format! Bring in cups please…

Friday, October 2: We went over and place the chapter 1 test homework into the responders for a grade. Took notes from the following lessons:

Monday, October 12: Homework – define the following terms in your vocabulary section: rectangular prism, pyramid, rectangle, square, function, edge, vertices, faces. You can use the text book or the websites on the front page of this site – scroll down towards the bottom.

Tuesday, October 13: Homework – Vocabulary Frayer Model – complete two using two vocabulary words (not on lined paper) see attached example:

Thursday, October 15: Springboard up thru page 75 (not pg 74) and study for Strand A test tomorrow!

Friday, October 16: Make sure your springboard pages 69-75 is complete, Take Home Quiz from textbook page 118 #20,24,27,31, 36,37,38,42,43,48. Study chapter 2 test monday! We had a strand A Post Test today – see me if you were absent! Collected Math Journal Today too!

Tuesday, October 20: We had the chapter 2 test today – see me if you were absent! Homework – study vocabulary test tomorrow & binder test – have binder organized with all notes, do nows, homework, test, vocab!

Wednesday, October 21: We had the vocabulary test and binder test today! Homework – scholastic magazine for extra credit!

Thursday, October 22: Early Release Day – we completed the Strand D Pre-test if you were absent see me to make this up please! NO HOMEWORK :)

Monday, October 26: Homework: define mean, median, mode, and range – today we practiced some of these problems from chapter 3 – sec. 3 in the text from online – if you were absent make sure you get the notes from someone! Also make sure you have pages 69-76 completed in your springboard workbook (not page 74).

Homework: vocab section: divisible, factor, exponents, power, base
Notes section: copy chart on page 178 divisibility rules & chart on page 182 with exponents.
Today we had a test on chapter 3 if you were absent make this up within your two days per absence!

Wednesday, December 9th: Everything is moved up a day so your quiz is going to be on Thursday & test on Friday! Also your journal will be due on Friday & complete your FCAT workbook pages 53 & 54 it is due tomorrow!

Monday, December 14: Homework – chapter 6 quiz at home from ph text pages 339-341 #8-50 even only *not #22 & 24. due tomorrow – chapter 6 test tomorrow – study!

Tuesday, December 15th and Wednesday, December 16th: study & practice your pass the book springboard unit

Thursday, December 17th: study pass the book test & springboard unit due tomorrow!

Monday, January 4th: Finish Holiday Packet Strand A/D due friday, if you were absent the last day before break you need to make up a test by this friday 1/8 it will be the last day for grades completed for 2nd quarter. We took notes from the prentice hall website chapter 7 section 1 see link below and complete the problems in your prentice hall text pg 350 #13,14,22 page 351 #28, 29. I also collect the springboard pass the book unit due by tomorrow.

      The first part you DO need to answer as well. It should also help you with the second question as well. We will go over it in class too tomorrow… the first part anyways! Always just try your best… :)

      yes negative/positive/no correlation should be three different looking scatter plots – you can just sketch examples of them under your definition of scatter plot, we will go over it tomorrow as well! thanks for being such a concerned student :)
