Wednesday, October 21: We had the vocabulary test and binder test today! Homework – scholastic magazine for extra credit!
Thursday, October 22: Early Release Day – we completed the Strand D Pre-test if you were absent see me to make this up please! NO HOMEWORK

Monday, October 26: Textbook page 41 #10-30 even *look at the powerpoint from chapter 1 at the top of this page under the date Sept. 2. Today we completed lesson 1-7. Bring Your Journal Tomorrow!

Monday, November 2: Homework – make correction on page 41 homework & chapter 1 quiz from page 618 even #’s from 1-7, 1-8, and 1-9. Study & Practice for the test tomorrow over these sections! And algebraic equations worksheet 67/69 both sides due tomorrow! Define like terms & reciprocal in your vocabulary section.
Tuesday, November 3: FCAT workbook page 68 #1,2,4 and page 70 #8,9,10. Also make sure you bring your math journal tomorrow. We had a chapter 1 test today if you were absent make sure you see me to make it up!
Wednesday, November 4: Math Journal #13 *see link under math journals page section. Define coefficient and constant, reciprocal, and like terms
Also complete page 472 in your text #3-6 and 5-10.
Thursday, November 5: Homework: In your Math Journal complete, copy the questions, write, explain & prove the word problems from page 476#3 find the error & page 480 #17 page 481 #24/25 short response!

Friday, November 13: Homework – take home quiz from chapter 10 due on Thursday, November 19th! Study for BAT testing – Math BAT on Tuesday!!
Monday, November 16: Homework – finish take home quiz (see me for worksheet if you still need it) from chapter 10 due Thursday & study for MATH BAT test tomorrow!
Tuesday, November 17 & Wednesday, November 18th: Finish chapter 10.1 thru 10.4 quiz w/s due Thursday!

Monday, December 7th:
Homework – Your entire math journal is due tomorrow!!! See math journal links on other page if necessary! Today we entered grades for Strand D post test and Strand C Pre-Test. I also collected the Strand D practice worksheet and the Chapter 11 MidChapter Test worksheet.
Tuesday, December 8th:
Today we did a project in class with the pythagorean theorm if you were absent then you need to see me after school to complete it. Homework: see the math journal section to complete problems in your math journal using the pythagorean theorem. Due tomorrow!
Here’s some help with the pythagorean theorem: MAC3 Chapter 03A section 3-4 and in your textbook chapter 3 lesson 4.

Wednesday, December 9: Today we started another new project measuring objects outside length and height to create a project using the pythagorean theorem – see me after school if you were absent. Homework: Pythagorean theorem worksheet 8 wordproblems due tomorrow – get the worksheet from the bin if you were absent.
Thursday, December 10: Continued Pythagorean theorem project & your homework is from your FCAT workbook page 53#4 page 58#8 all of page 66 and page 67#8.
Monday, December 14th: 3-6 pythagorean theorem word problems on the coordinate plane worksheet (8 problems) Today we also graded the fcat workbook and took a quiz on the pythagorean theorem.
Tuesday, December 15th & Wednesday, December 16th: Homework – text page 138#7 page 139 #15 page 140#24 page 144# 18 and page 145#22 this is all due on Thursday – Field Trip tomorrow!!! Also today we defined in class hypotenuse & diagonal.
Thursday, December 17th: Homework -study (look back from dec. 8th date above) pythagorean theorem use the powerpoint from chapter 3 lesson 5 & chapter 3 lesson 6. Practice from your text and the links above! Go over your notes & homework that we have completed!
Monday, January 4th: Math Journal Entry – see math journal section, Holiday Strand A/D packet due Friday, Complete vocabulary from chapter 6-1 pages 256-158 (14 words total, definitions only). If you missed the last day of school in December you missed a test and will need to see me before/after school to make it up by Friday – Friday 1/8th last day for grades for 2nd quarter! I also collected the pythagorean theorem group project that we did outside before the break!
Tuesday, January 5th: Homework – 6-1 angles worksheet side 1, finish holiday packet due Friday! reminder- binder & vocab test on thursday! Also we completed all the vocabulary definitions & examples from section 6-1 in class today from your textbook see link below for vocabulary website:
